Bed was full of hair, dirt, and even found a bug crawling around in the bed. I added a photo shame they won’t let you upload video then you would be able to see it crawling around. They brought fresh sheets and I had to change the sheets my self. I didn’t realize I was paid employee on their cleaning staff. Oh that’s right because I’m not. At $180 a night I would expect much much more. Spoke with person at front desk in the morning and they took $40 off the bill. I thought it should have been free.
This is a nice hotel. The staff was polite. The rooms were clean. The only thing missing was blueberry muffins...that my daughter wanted. If I end up in Portland again I would stay here again. The only reason I did not give the 5 stars is because I wasn't wowed by anyone. The employees were their to do their job. I didn't feel a warm and inviting how are you?
We loved our stay here. The rooms were clean, quiet, and updated. The staff was awesome and helpful. We had questions about the area and they were great with answering.
If you need to do laundry, there is a washer and dryer that is free. This was nice to dry off our beach towels.
I am absolutely in love with this place! We just got engaged and spent the weekend here and Port A and this was the nicest time we've had in a long time. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we didn't want to wake up, the room, sheets, and bathroom were meticulously cleaned. The breakfast(free!) was really good; fresh cooked eggs, hash browns, sausage patties, waffles, pretty much the works.
Wheelchair accessible, roll in shower room is an example for other hotels to follow. Even small details they got right, like with placement of mirrors, good shower bench, furniture out of the way for my wheelchair, able to reach things from wheelchair, like the phone. The door was easier to open than other hotels. A quiet, restful, peaceful stay. All the staff where examples for friendliness and wanting to help. Free use of a washer and dryer was very nice. Cleaning lady offered to help me without me asking with the washing machine. Breakfast lady offered to to help me. Three other staff offered to help with other things. A hotel that is doing everything right. Thank you for the pleasant stay and experience.
They provide free breakfast. They have Texas shaped waffles! It was better than most continental breakfast too!
Outdoor pool was nice and never crowded. I would recommend this place if you're traveling for work or pleasure.
