It is fairly big store. They have seafood and a bakery. There were lots of items to choose from. The cashier was about to close but waited on us . He was very helpful and were able to leave promptly.
During the hurricane the people at the Portland HEB the grocery people the store people Everyone is wonderful in helping out the best way they can giving out free water helping hand loading it's just been a really good experience with Portland HEB thank you very much.
The store is very busy, lots of people, so it's not a quick in and out. However, the staff are above and beyond terrific; friendly, efficient and helpful. The store is large and well stocked with a variety of items, including gluten free!
HEB has the best fresh fruit, vegetables and meat. Great bakery and Deli. Their rotisserie chickens are delicious. They have everything! Very friendly and courteous staff.
Always have fresh produce and nice looking meat items. They dont do multiple coupons per item, etc but have weekly 'meal' deals that if you buy 1 or 2 items they give you several more for free all centered around helping the customer put a meal together. Also a lot of buy this item, get this item free. I will not go to the other grocery store in town for any of my meats or produce.
