When I first attended Portland Christian Center it was an amazing experience. Everyone was friendly and welcomed myself and my family with open arms. They have an incredible worship team and Pastor Jim is an incredible man of God who delivers the word like no other. Incredible experience and highly recommended.
We have been attending this church for 16 years. You can always sense the Presence of God! What we like the most is that the Pastor that started the church over 25 years ago is still the Pastor. (Some churches change Pastors every few years.) When we go out of town, we visit other churches, but there is no place like HOME! We highly recommend this place!
This is what this church is all about. They're loving, accepting, outgoing, and totally scriptural! All teachings are straight out of the Bible. No opinions, or personal feelings. The praise and worship makes it so easy to get your sights set directly on Jesus. Just an awesome church in every way.
We came to Portland Christian Center expecting great bible believing preaching and teaching and we were not disappointed. My kids love Kids Church! On the way home they tell me all they have learned from their teachers and can't wait to go back. Our Pastor is the real deal, no cotton candy fluff here! The church staff is so welcoming and you know you are home the minute you walk through the doors.
